I recently had the pleasure of staying at Toyoko Inn Kyoto Gojo Omiya during a business trip chosen by my director, and it was a good experience. The hotel is remarkably clean and offers great value for money. I particularly appreciated that the rate included a breakfast buffet, which was surprisingly extensive and provided a wonderful start to each day. The location is excellent, just a short distance from Kyoto Station and a few minutes from several bus stops, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were courteous and always ready to help with any requests. it’s an ideal spot for both business and leisure stays.
Could not change to non-smoking.

The breakfast provided a good start to our day with a surprising variety. The spacious room that we booked for two was cozy with enough room for our luggage. The location was key, with easy access to nearby bus stops and convenience stores to grab snacks for our romantic escape.
The hotel's location was not ideal for those carrying heavy luggage as it was a long walk from the train station. the surrounding area lacked charm and restaurants were hard to come by.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, very good and included in the price. We appreciated the USB ports in the room. the location was great because it was close to bus routes, making it easy to get around.
The room was small for two people and we couldn't fit an ironing board. the hotel didn't quite meet our expectations for Japanese culture and experience.

The hotel's location offers convenient access to the city with buses near the hotel going to Kyoto station or the Gion area. It is also close to the train station making transportation easy.
The hotel's small rooms do not accommodate an iron or ironing board, and the lack of certain amenities takes away from the experience.

I was pleasantly surprised with the spread of breakfast provided by the hotel, it was a great way to start my day. The room was cozy yet spacious enough for me to be comfortable and even accommodated an additional traveler. The front desk staff were very friendly and allowed me to check in early and hold on to my luggage. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located with multiple bus stops within a 5-minute walk and close to a railway station.
